After a man dies from the plague a group of people are quarantined on a remote Greek island. One by one the people begin to die. Is it the plague or the vrykolaka, a vampire-like creature, claiming their lives?
Arnold Böcklin's painting The Isle of the Dead not only inspired this film but also made an appearance in I Walked With a Zombie.
